A four-time NJCAA National Champion, Edward is one of the rising stars in track and field and the 200m event. Edward owns the 200m NJCAA National Meet record, as well as, was a member of Barton’s 4X400m NJCAA National Meet record setting relay team. Edward ran the 2nd leg of that team consisting of Remuro Henry, Terry Charles, and fellow 2012 Olympian Tabarie Henry. Edward also owns Panama’s national record in the outdoor 100m and indoor 200m and earned a silver medal finish in the 2009 World Championships. Making his first appearance in Olympic competition, Edward’s 2011 season was cut short due to injury but is now fully recovered and expected to make a run at the medal stand. Edward will begin his quest on August 7 at 5:50 a.m. CDT in round one of the competition. Semifinals will be run on August 8 at 2:10 p.m. CDT with the finals being held the following day at 2:55 p.m.
