Kaiser to head the men’s golf team as well for Barton

After two years of coaching the Barton Community College women’s golf team, Doug Kaiser will add the men’s golf team to list as well. Kaiser will run both programs this fall for the Cougars. He takes over the men’s team from Steve Gotsche.

 

Kaiser led the Barton women to a 2nd place finish at the Region VI meet last year including the Region VI individual champion in Rachel Strecker. He played at Barton along with former Coach Steve Gotsche. The Cougars start play with the women's team heading to Dodge City for an invitational at Mariah Hills August 30-31 and the men at Quail Ridge in Winfield September 13 to start conference play.
