The No. 18 ranked Barton Community College Volleyball team took care of Garden City Community College in straight sets here tonight in Jayhawk Conference action.  The Lady Cougars, limiting and resting key players, won the match in relative easy fashion 25-13, 25-18, and 25-9.   Barton maintains its two game advantage atop the conference and region standings as they stay unbeaten at 8-0 while improving their overall record to 15-6.

Barton travels to Dodge City on Wednesday to take on the dangerous Lady Conquistadors in conference play.  The Lady Cougars will then travel to Colorado Springs to play in the Air Force Prep Tournament on Friday and Saturday.   Barton will next play at home on October 12 against Hutchinson Community College in another key conference match.
