The Barton Community College women’s soccer team won their third straight game by defeating Cowley College tonight in Arkansas City.   Trailing 1-0 at halftime Barton quickly even the score just 1:38 into the second half on a Jessica Rosenberg goal coming from a Monica McCarthy assist.  The game appeared heading into extra play until Rachel Ukena scored Barton’s game winning goal with only 4:06 left on the clock.  The Lady Cougars remain in 4th place in the conference standings at 5-3 while improving their overall record to 6-6 on the season.

Barton will next play this Saturday against Independence Community College.  Game time is 2:00 p.m. at Cougar Field and will be webcast at www.BartonSports.com.
