The Barton Community College women’s soccer team lost Sunday 6-0 to Hutchinson to end a tough week through the Jayhawk Conference.  The Lady Cougars faced three of the top four conference teams in eight days and will take on the fifth place team on Wednesday.

After reaching the .500 mark on the season and 2-0 in conference play, Barton has since been outscored 21-1 in three games and falls to 2-3 in conference and 3-6 overall.  Barton’s next opponent offers no break for the Lady Cougars as the Dodge City Conquistadors are 3-2 in conference play and 3-5 overall with two losses coming to nationally ranked teams.  The two teams will match up this Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at Dodge City’s Memorial Stadium.
